On April 20, 2018, the skilled nursing and rehab center threw a party for these ladies. The celebration included special piano music from honoree Altabee Pyle’s son-in-law, Clyde, as well as cake and ice cream, gifts and a proclamation read by Columbia Mayor Dean Dickey....

Around 10 associates joined locals in walking to show support of continued research for better treatment and a cure for Alzheimer’s disease...

Life Care Center of Columbia, Tennessee, held its first chili cook off on Jan. 27.

Three judges were tasked with picking the three best chili recipes out of 10 that were entered by members of the nursing, admissions, environmental services and MDS departments....

On Oct. 27, 2016, Life Care Center of Columbia, Tennessee, held its annual Fall Senior Fair.

More than 100 seniors from the community attended the event. Twenty health care vendors participated by having booths to share information about their businesses and the services offered to seniors.

On Oct. 15, 2016, Life Care Center of Columbia, Tennessee, sent 13 associates (who volunteered on their own time) to take part in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s held in Nashville.

Associates named their team the Mule Town Kickers in honor of Columbia being the Mule Capital of the World. Lisa White, executive director, served as the team captain for the walk.
