Life Care Centers of America honored Lisa White, senior executive director at Life Care Center of Columbia, Tennessee, with one of two President’s Awards for its Eastern Division on Aug. 24, 2015.
The honor recognizes distinguished service in the long-term health care management role. The Eastern Division includes 40 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
White was praised for following up with new and long-term patients to make sure their care is exceptional, as well as for her volunteer service in the community.
“On any given day, you will see Lisa leading her team to focus on positive resident outcomes, performance and community relations,” said Latessa Morris, vice president of the Eastern Division.
“Lisa has demonstrated professional skill and compassion in dispatching her responsibilities to the associates, residents and families she serves,” said Beecher Hunter, Life Care president. “She has uniquely demonstrated a leadership style for others to emulate. This is a distinguished award to receive because it goes to the heart of our mission.”
Fifteen President’s Awards are presented annually to leaders of overall successful facilities or organizations within Life Care.
