On Aug. 23, 2018, Life Care Center of Columbia, Tennessee, was awarded two Best of Maury County awards at the Best of Maury County awards ceremony, which the facility co-hosted with The Bridge at Columbia.

“We are honored to have won Best Nursing Home and Best Rehab Health Facility in Maury County,” said Vanessa Purdom, director of business development. “We couldn’t be more proud to serve our community. The event gets better and bigger every year.”

This was the 13th year that the facility has won the Best Nursing Home award but the first year that it won the Best Rehab Facility award.

Brandon Whiteside, executive director, and Purdom accepted the awards on behalf of the facility.

“I am so proud of this team, and it is a true honor to serve beside so many talented and compassionate people here at Life Care Center of Columbia,” said Carol Graves, director of nursing. “I think I speak for most of us when I say that the residents and families become an extension of our own families.”
