On Sept. 27, 2018, Life Care Center of Columbia held its annual Fall Senior Fair.

More than 102 seniors from the community attended and enjoyed the vendors’ fall-themed booths as they learned about the services these local businesses offer. Nursing management from the facility had its own booth providing blood pressure and blood sugar checks, and the rehab department provided balance screenings.

However, the fun wouldn’t have been complete without the bingo game and tasty seasonal treats.

“This has become an annual event that the seniors in our community look forward to attending,” said Vanessa Purdom, director of business development. “It’s a time of fellowship, fun and information, and we are able to offer free health screenings that the attendees appreciate receiving. This event could not have come together without our awesome management team, so thank you to everyone who pitched in to make this fair successful.”
